Walking and hiking are by far the most popular activities in the Davos Klosters region in summer. With over 700 km of paths, there are walks to suit everyone, all marked with distinctive yellow signs indicating how long the walk will take you. With your Guest Card, all the region’s cable-cars are free, sparing you the hard slog uphill and bringing wonderful panoramic views within easy reach. Several walks start from just behind our apartment, including the Schluchtweg, a beautiful riverside walk taking you through a gorge and right across to Davos. Detailed maps of all the walks in the area are available from the Tourist Office.

Biking: The Davos Klosters region calls itself the  “Single Track Paradise of the Alps”, boasting countless marked trails for all abilities. In many cases, the biking trails are shared with hikers, which calls for tolerance on both sides… For the less energetic, there are cycle trails around the village and down the valley, although nowhere is flat around Klosters, and your day will always finish with the climb back up to the house! There is a dedicated room off the underground garage where bikes can be kept. Bikes are also available for hire in the village.
